Casa "La Serena" es un proyecto orgullosamente mexicano.
Su remodelación fue realizada por el taller-estudio "Topometasis" del arquitecto Iván Ramírez en colaboración con Fabiola González.
La casa original fue construida en los años ochentas con elementos tradicionales de la arquitectura del centro histórico de la ciudad de Oaxaca.La intención de la remodelación fue la creación de espacios abiertos que posibilitaran la interacción con el entorno destacando como elemento distintivo el uso de celosías de madera para crear juegos de luz, sombra e intimidad.
Casa "La Serena" is a proudly Mexican project.
Its renovation was carried out by the "Topometasis" workshop-studio, led by architect Iván Ramírez in collaboration with Fabiola González.
The original house was built in the 1980s with traditional architectural elements characteristic of the historic center of Oaxaca City.
The goal of the renovation was to create open spaces that foster interaction with the surroundings, featuring the distinctive use of wooden latticework to produce dynamic plays of light, shadow, and privacy.

La Serena is spectacular. The photos are nice, but the place is even more incredible in person. Each of the 6 bedrooms is a good size, and the bathrooms are very pleasant. (The outdoor showers and bathtubs are a highlight!) The common areas include a dining room, a large kitchen, an outdoor living room, an indoor living room, and a rooftop terrace area. You’ll have plenty of places to hang out with everyone.
